Bamboo Harvest, December, 2012

Cutting timber bamboo on Johns Island with Sebas and Louis.

40 foot culms up to 6" diameter

Cleaned up and ready to dry for a few months.  These will be used for training Japanese maples and black pines. And also, in traditional Japanese water features, as the bamboo pipe (kakei) that pours water in to the stone basins.
